You play as President Puma’s political animals whose job it is to keep Puma’s secrets from leaking to the press. But who can you trust? Can Puma’s Loyalists successfully keep things under wraps or will Fiona Fox’s Leakers manage to go undetected and spread his secrets to the world?
In a crossover between Jackbox and Among Us, 5 - 10 players use their phones to communicate with President Puma, or their fellow Leakers depending on whose side they’re on. Keeping track of what’s being said, who's looking shifty, and which way people are voting on important cover-up missions, players work to achieve their goal of either successfully covering up or leaking three political scandals.
Moein and Kasra, the founders of Gerdoo Games, are software engineers that bonded over a shared passion for video and board games. They quit their jobs at Microsoft and Twitch to make the game they wished existed. As fans of social deduction titles such as Mafia, Werewolf, and Resistance, they saw an opportunity to advance the genre by fixing some of its shortcomings, using technology to open up new design possibilities.
Republic of Jungle is the product of years of hacking and playtesting ideas as hobbyists. The game matured into something that today we're proud to be working on full-time.
